PS2SJ 052 - We slept on some grass in Round Valley, having hiked past the tram station. In most places up here the snow was about four feet deep, but this patch is in the sun almost all day. Best 1/2 hour nap in months.

pinnacle - Perhaps you can understand some of the scope of this place with this picture. Below this rock is the tramway, and beyond that interstate 10. East Sa Gorgonio wilderness is beyond.

IMG_6015 - There were so many flowers. I could have spent all day on the first half of the trail documenting the flora.

PS2SJ 016 - At this point an owl hovered a flitted about for maybe 30 seconds. Beautiful white and gray, almost totally silent in it's movements. We're still 1 hour away from the car.
