PS2SJ 024 - It is 7 AM, we just drove two hours, visited (sad) two Starbucks (one for eating, the other for pooping), and Nathan is pretty much as wasted as I am. You can see the impending mountain behind the museum behind the Passat behind Nathan.

PS2SJ 025 - Exhausted. Already 1 minute on the trail and we had second thoughts as we feel the early morning burn. It was at this point 14 hours that we could hear, just off to the right, some rich people party replete with an 80s cover band and screaming booby ladies. To left was a wedding reception; all heard but not seen. Note the well pounded dust on the trail. That give way to a much less traveled travail not more than two miles farther.

PS2SJ 028 - Notice the beautiful baked dark red rocks. I love the texture of rocks that has been cooking for eons..

PS2SJ 038 - This canyon is really deep, and I believe the next canyon over is where the tram is.

PS2SJ 042 - You can see the tram at the bottom of the ravine. The trail really is about this steep for about 1/3 the hike.
